FortisBC believes that the question may refer to the December 19, 2007 CPCN application for
AMI, in which on page 28, the Company gave its financial assumptions, including those
inflationary rates noted in the question.
However, in the current AMI proposal, the Company is using a more conservative 1.8% inflation
rate for all aspects, including labour, vehicle, and general inflation.
