Benefits will be realized by actively managing and using the capabilities inherent in the
proposed AMI system, and concurrently eliminating the resulting unnecessary existing costs.
The proposed AMI project includes the requirement to create/change processes in all impacted
facets of the Company in order to ensure that “active management” occurs. The Company’s
ability to realize the proposed benefits in a timely fashion is directly related to implementation of
the proposed AMI system as recommended within the AMI CPCN Application.

realization.

direct costs.
