For staffing, <strong>FortisBC</strong> has anticipated adding an additional 9.5 FTEs to support the AMI<br />

system and new processes. The breakdown <strong>of</strong> these resources is as follows:<br />

• System Analyst – two additional resources required <strong>for</strong> the day to day support <strong>of</strong><br />

AMI s<strong>of</strong>tware applications, including planning and implementing upgrades as well as<br />

developing and testing new enhancements <strong>for</strong> the new applications;<br />

62.1 Please detail the number <strong>of</strong> existing <strong>FortisBC</strong> IT resources, including staff,<br />

contractors and consultants, that deal with s<strong>of</strong>tware applications, including<br />

planning and implementing upgrades as well as developing and testing new<br />

enhancements <strong>for</strong> applications.<br />

There are 11 IT internal application resources:<br />

• Database administrators / Basis / SAP security - 3 resources.<br />

• Customer In<strong>for</strong>mation System (CIS) - 2 resources.<br />

• SAP - 2 resources.<br />
