In total, 93 individuals attended the five open houses held in Kelowna, Osoyoos, Creston, Trail,<br />

and Princeton in June <strong>of</strong> 2011 <strong>for</strong> the AMI project. In comparison <strong>for</strong> open houses held on the<br />

Company’s recently filed “Guidelines <strong>for</strong> Establishing Entitlement to Non-PPA Embedded Cost<br />

Power and Matching Methodology” there were five attendees in Kelowna and a single<br />

participant in Castlegar. Those open houses were held on March 6 and March 8, 2012<br />

respectfully.<br />

<strong>FortisBC</strong> received 54 participants in four open houses held in Kelowna; Osoyoos; Creston and<br />

Castlegar in February <strong>of</strong> 2011 during the Company’s consultation on the Integrated System<br />

Plan.<br />

Consultation on the Okanagan Transmission Rein<strong>for</strong>cement (OTR) included three open houses<br />

in Oliver, Okanagan Falls, and Penticton in March 2007. A total <strong>of</strong> 110 participants participated<br />

in those sessions. <strong>FortisBC</strong> also held three open houses in May 2007 <strong>for</strong> OTR with 128<br />

participants participating.<br />

Using these prior consultation attendance records as guidelines, <strong>FortisBC</strong> submits that the AMI<br />

open houses were well attended.<br />

119.2 Please confirm that <strong>FortisBC</strong> received approximately 22 feedback <strong>for</strong>ms from this<br />

open house and that approximately one third <strong>of</strong> those either Disagreed or<br />

Strongly Disagreed that the material presented was useful and helped to<br />

understand AMI.<br />

<strong>FortisBC</strong> received 22 feedback <strong>for</strong>ms from the open houses held in June 2011. For the<br />

statement on the feedback <strong>for</strong>m, “The open house material presented to me tonight was useful<br />

and helped me understand the AMI better”, 4 participants marked “strongly disagree” and 1<br />

marked “disagree” <strong>for</strong> a total <strong>of</strong> 5 or 22.7 per cent.<br />
