<strong>Jesus</strong> not only is not overcome, but He overcomes<br />

by absolute submission to <strong>the</strong> Will <strong>of</strong> God.<br />

To submit to <strong>the</strong> Will <strong>of</strong> God! But is not this to<br />

acknowledge His authority, <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> order <strong>and</strong><br />

disposition which He has made <strong>of</strong> all things ?<br />

Once more <strong>the</strong> scene changes. <strong>The</strong>y have turned<br />

<strong>the</strong>ir back upon Jerusalem <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> Temple. Behind<br />

are also all popular prejudices, narrow<br />

nationalism, <strong>and</strong> limitations. <strong>The</strong>y no longer<br />
