Distinguished from 1l1. hecabe by the elytra being more attenuate<br />
apically ; the body color much paler; antennal third segment<br />
not only pale in pubescence basally but also in surface color, and<br />
more strongly sinuate ; elyt,l'al median pale fascia less distinct ;<br />
and tarsal claw-segment testaceous basally.<br />
FEMALE. Elongate-ovate, robust, subcylindrieal ; reddish-brown, elytra some<br />
what pler; entirely clothed with rather thin, pale fulvous-gray pubescence, tinged<br />
irregularly with browu. Head with eye margined posteriorly with denser fulvous<br />
gray pubescence. Pronotum maculate with denser lulvous-grtly on each discal<br />
tuberele and above hind angles. ScutclIlUu indistinetly fulvous-gray margin.9.te.<br />
EIytra variegated with fulvous-gray on b:lsc, on apic:l1 third, along suture, alld<br />
medially, where it takes the form of an il'rcguI:lr, oblique fascia. running from sides<br />
before middle to behind middle of suture. Body beneath light reddish-brown,<br />
rather densely covered with pale fulvous-gray pubescence, sparsely mottled with<br />
brown; toward sides with a row of indistinct maeulae of denser pubescence. Legs<br />
dark reddish-brown, fulvous-gray pubescent; me:o- and metafemora broadly an<br />
nulatc medially with brownish; w.rsal claw segment indistinctly rose[ltc [It base.<br />
Antennae fuscous, b.'1SCS of segments from third broadly roseate, that o fifth, sev<br />
enth, and nintb more n3rrowly so; scnpc fulvous-gray pubescent, tinged with brown<br />
:lpically, remaining segments fuscous pubescent, the pale b:lscs hoary.<br />
Head minutely, densely punctate and with a number of fine punctures jnter<br />
