Quite distinct from all other members of the genus in tIle macu<br />
lation of elytra ; these have a large, rounded spot behind middle,<br />
which is preceded by an elongate, triallgu.lar, whitish one attaining<br />
basal quarter. Moreover, the humeri are nearly straight on au<br />
terior margin and the pronotal disk is very smooth.<br />
1f .... LE. Elongate, rather robust, subcylindrical; head black, pronotum and<br />
elytra very dark reddish-brown; entirely fulvous-gray pubescent. Head with two<br />
short, dark brown vittae above, one each side of median lin, widest at occiput,<br />
tapering but not converging anteriorly; front varied with dark brown pubescence,<br />
margined with fulvous each side; eye.> narrowly margined. posteriorly with fulvous.<br />
Fronotum with two transverse rows of dark brown maculae, six in the anterior row,<br />
five in the posterior one, all rather indistinct and rounded, between the seco'od and<br />
third, and fourth and fifth macula. of apical row is a small, rounded spot of fulvous.<br />
Scutellum margined at apex and sides with fulvous. Elytra on basal quarter with<br />
many, small, dark brown maculae, these much confluent, each behind middle with a<br />
large, more or less rounded, dark brown macula, anteriorly broadly, triangularly<br />
bordered with whitish, extending to basal quarter and with scattered brown spots<br />
within it, posteriorly in the large spot is a small, round" fulvous one interrupting<br />
its margin; apical third tends to be brighter iulvous pubescent, with numerous dark
