teeth, usually curved slightly inward distally. Pronotum transverse, sides feebly<br />

arcuate, llilrrowing apically, unarmed or very feebly tuberculate behind middle;<br />

disk· medially with an irregular tubercle, each side of which are three other tubercles,<br />

arranged in a triangle, the outermost one smaller ; an apical and a basal transverse<br />

sulcus, and a deeper oblique one laterally ext.mding down sides. Scutellum tran.s·<br />

verse, sides nearly straight, oblique, apex broadly rounded or subtruncate. Elytra<br />

attenuate to apices, which are separately, broadly rounded; base of disk toward<br />

each side of suture with a small gibbosity, entire basal fourth sparsely granulate,<br />

granules fine, with a few coarser ones, rest of disk with cattered, sparse, deep<br />

punctures; humeri prominent, the anterior margin oblique, the angle with a large,<br />

shining tubercle; sides below humeri with a few small granules and some rugosities.<br />

Prosternum slight.ly widened between coxae. Procoxae tumid anteriorly and feebly,<br />

obtusely tubercled; femora feebly clavate, profemora feebly rugose beneath, not<br />

abo.,.·c; metatibiac expanded on apical half, with an elongate linear impression<br />

internally on expanded portion; protarsi feebly dilat€d. Fifth sternite one-half<br />

longer than fourth, apex emarginate. Antennae one and one-fourth times length<br />

of body, sparsely fimbriate beneath proximally to fourth segment; scape elongate,<br />

slender, gradually clavatc, finely, densely punctate, with scattered, obsolete, larger<br />

punctures; third sgment about as long as first, very feebly arcuate; eleventh<br />

subequal in length to tcnth, with a short proce:s at apex.<br />

FEMALE. More robust ; head with front less coarsely rugose; antennal tubercles<br />

less prominent, only feebly produced at apex; prostcrnum broader apically; pro­<br />

coxae globose, unarmed; profemora more distinctly clavate, not rugose beneath;<br />

metatibiae not expanded ; fifth sternite twice length of fourth, sllbemarginate at<br />

apex, triangularly impressed; antennae about as long as body, scape morc slonder<br />

than in male, eleventh segment with only a minute process at apex.<br />

LENGTH 16-25.5 mm.; width 6.5-10.5 mm.<br />
