yellowishwhite vitta, which is 3. eontinuat.ion of the whitish patch on side of head.<br />
Scutellum brown pubescent, only ·basal angles and lateral edges shortly whitish.<br />
Elytra. with the vittae of pronotum just continued on ext-reme base, remainder of<br />
surface with mnny, very narrow, irregularly placed, long lines of deep Iulvous and<br />
outlined with a grayish pubescence, these on apicnl quarter more or less forming<br />
forked lines, a very narrow, broken, whitish fascia with three or more dentations,<br />
beginning laterally behind middle lind extending obliquely forward to beyond middle<br />
of disk near suture, a broad band of the dark brown pubescence behind the whitish<br />
vitta which lacks the fulvous lines of the rest of the surface. Beneath dark brown,<br />
with vnriegated pubescence of brown and pale fulvous, the dark brown predominant<br />
on sides of sterna nnd sternites and the stcrnites with a very small, rounded, fulvous<br />
macula each side. Legs durk reddish-brown to fuscous, thinly pubescent with variegated<br />
fulvous and brown; femora. at apical twothirds with a fulvous macula and<br />
nt apex a fulvous fascia. Antennae with scape dark reddish-brown or piceous, re<br />
maining segments reddishbrown ; scape variegated with brown and fulvous pubes<br />
cence, a large irregular spot of brown at apex., remaining segments brown pubescent<br />
very narrowly and feebly annulate at base with gray.<br />
Head above finely alutaceous, with It median impressed line from occiput nearly<br />
to epistoma; front nnrrowed slightly below eyes, finely alut.aceoos, with well spaced,<br />
deep punctures interspcrsed; genae elongate, narrow, pubescent, minutely nlutaceous<br />
; eyes with lower lobe small, narrowly ovate, subequal to genae; antennai<br />
tubercles promincnt produced internally into short, very robust, obtuse processes<br />
usull.l!y directed forward and inward. Pronotum transverse, base only slightly<br />
wider than apex; sides feebly arcun.te; a basal and apical sulcus, basal one oblique<br />
over latcral tubercles; disk just behind middle with an elongate, moderately elevated<br />
tubercle, either side of middle n large, rounded tumid area; lateral tubcrcles<br />
broad at base; obtusely produced, just anterior and slightly dorsal to these a. small<br />
rounded, tumid area; base of center of disk and lateral tubercles with a few punctate<br />
granules. Scutellum transverse; sides straight; apex subtruncate, moderately<br />
notched medially. Elytra nearly parallel to behind middle thellce feebly attenuate<br />
apically ; apices each rounded; disk coa.rsciy, dcnsely punctate on basal third, punctures<br />
thence finer to apex; humeri prominent, anterior margin strongly oblique,<br />
angle with a small tubercle. Prostcrnum much broader behind middle; mesosternnl<br />
process allgulate and emarginate apically; fifth aternite about one-fourth longcr<br />
th.'IR fourth, feebly emarginate apically. Procoxac globose, with a very hrond obtuse<br />
tubercle internally; profemora clavate, rugose on all four sides on basal twothirds,<br />
remaining femora gradually clavat.e; protnrsi slightly dilated. Antennac<br />
nbout one and one-half to ono nnd twothirds times body lcngth; scape robust,<br />
nearly capitate, rcnching only to middle of pronotum, with ono or two deep grooves<br />
internnlly and externally at base, remainder of surface finely densely punctate,<br />
third and fourth segments somewhat thickened, and third nearly twice length of<br />
scape and fccbly sinuate, fourth nearly twice length of fifth, remaining segments<br />
subequal.<br />
