Body beneath dark reddil\h·brown, medially hoary pubescent, laterally pale fulvous;<br />
abdomen at middle coycrad with boary pubescence, in type mottled with brown and<br />
each sternite apically denuded, in the paratype almost uniformly grayish ; laternlly<br />
vittate wit-h fulvous and finely mottled, the vitta very indistinct on first slernite.<br />
Legs reddish-brown regularly clothed with coarse, hoary and fulvous pubescence,<br />
the mesotibiae indistinctly (lnuulate at middle with hoary pubescence; tarsal claw<br />
segments fuscous on apical two-fifths, base deep rosy. Antennae luscolLS, vnrie<br />
gated with dark brown and hoary pubescence; basal half of third and basal two*<br />
fifths ol lollowing segments pale rosaceous, covered with fine, hoary pubescence.<br />
Head minutely, densely punctate, with a median impressed line from occiput<br />
almost to epistorna; front nearly flat between antennal tubercles, rather finely<br />
and dcnsely punctate, tI submarginal linear impression from below eye to episwmn;<br />
gena elongate, vertical, rather denseJy, rugosely punctate; eye with lower lobe<br />
oblong, its height one-third less than that of gena ; antennal tubercles well Jrepa*<br />
rated, moderately elevated, produced at apex into a distinct, acute tooth. Pronotum<br />
transverse, sides straight, untlrmed, gradually narrowed to apex; apical and basal<br />
tmnsverse sulcus distinct, the latter merging with the lateral ob lique ones; d.il!k<br />
finely sp.arsely pUDcl.:lte across base, the median line somewhat cleva ted, narrow,<br />
each side strongly tumid, tumescences not traversed by an oblique impre!sion.<br />
Scutellum transverse; sides strongly oblique, straight; apex broadly rounded, im*<br />
pressed at middle. Elytm with sides straight, slightly oblique; apices separately<br />
rounded; disk at base feebly gibbosc either side, sparsely and moderately finely<br />
punct.1te, posterior half finely and a little more closely punctate; hlUlleri somewhat<br />
projecting, anterior margin straight, strongly oblique, angle with a large, sruning<br />
tubercle, from wruch extends n. short, curved, feeble carina ; sides below a little<br />
more densely and coarsely punctate than disk. Prosternum with a transverse<br />
proc at middle between coxae. Procoxae tumid behind, anteriorly with a broad,<br />
but feebly elevated, obtuse tubercle; femora clavate, profemora with several trans·<br />
verse rugosities beneath at base; mel.:ltibiae apically greatly widened. Fifth Ilter*<br />
nite one-half. again as long as fourth; apex broadly rounded. Antennae about<br />
one*fourlh longer than body, finely and sparingly fimbriate beneath to apcx of nfth<br />
segment; scapc slender, slightly capitate on apicn1 half, basally above coarsely<br />
punctate; third segment visibly longer than first, biflexuose; rest gradually shorter;<br />
eleventh tufted at apex.<br />
