beneath fucous, covered with gray, fulvous or rosy-gray, rmd dark brown varie­
gated pubescence; abdomen dark brown pucent with hoary gray hairs inter­
spersed, laterally vittate with pale rosy-gray, the vittn strongly narrowed on first
stcrnite and ending at middle of fifth. Legs fuseous, thinly fulvolls-gray pubes­
cent, the pubescence often fonning reticular iine:>, especially on femora; tarsi
with claw segment pale yellowish, II little less than apical half black. Antennae
luscous, bnS3i third beneath of third segment, entire bas:tl two-firths of fourth
nnd bns.'II fourth of following segments pale yellowish; scape and third segment
variegated with hoary and dark brown pubescence, the basal fifth of third nnd
pale arcas of the foUowing segmcnts thinly grny pubescent, apical portion of
distal segments from fourth dark brown.

minutely and densely punctllte, with close-set, coarse punctures along each side
below and on entire clypeal region, between eyes on each side half-way \)ctween
the median line a distinct elongate fovea. and a broader but more shallow one
each side of median line above clypcus, a linear impression on lower half along
l:oteml margins; genae vertical, spllrsely pubescent, coarsely, rugosely punctate; eye
with lower lobo broadly oblong, shorter than the gena ; antem}lll tubercles slightly
prominent, well separo.tcd, produced shortly at apices. Pronotum transverse, sides
nearly straight, strongly nnrrowed to 3pex, behind middle with a large, robust

at mid(Ue, coalesccnt with thc lnteral oblique sulci; disk with a "cry feeble tubercle

extended posteriorly obliquely to suture, entire basal half coarsely and irregularly
