length of body, with scarcely any fimbriation beneath, what fringing hairs Ilrc pres·<br />

ent arc short, very sparse, and confined to the four proximal segments; scape elongate,<br />

slender at base, distinctly clavate on apical half or two-fifths, basal half be<br />

neath coarsely, transversely rugose; third segment only one-eighth longer than first,<br />

straight or feebly curved downwards, apex slightly wider than base; fourth equal to<br />

first, fifth very slightly, but measurably, longer than fourth, rest subequal, tenth<br />

and eleventh arcuate, the latter longest of all, acicular.<br />

LENGTH 21-23 mm.; width 8-8.3 mm.<br />
