Elytra on basal half entirely dark brown, except for a few,<br />
small, scattered patches of pale pubescence; abdomen medially<br />
entirely dark brown pubescent ; metatibiae dark brown annulate<br />
medially; prosternum processed; antennae with basal fifth of surface<br />
of third segment pale and not more than basal fourth of following<br />
segments pale.<br />
}'EYALE. Elong.'lte-ovllte, robust, convex; dark brown or fuscous. Head and<br />
pronotum grayish-yellow' pubescent, spotted and mottled with dark gnyish-brown.<br />
Scutellwn dark brown, laterally nnrrowly vittate with grayish-yellow. Elytra<br />
gmyish-brown pubescent, nt middle with a more or less triangular macula, the<br />
longest side lateral, and apex of triangle toward but not attaining suture, macula<br />
outlined with yellowish-white, the anterior edge bordered by a broad, dark brown<br />
vitta which attains humerus, on inner side macula indistinctly streaked with<br />
grayish-brown or dark fulvous; the apical portion of elytra spotted and streaked<br />
indistinctly with slightly paler pubescence. Beneath dark brown or fUSCOUE,<br />
sternites rather densely clothed with grayish-yellow pubescence, entire pro- and<br />
mesosternum and sides of metnsternum mottled with dark grayish-brown; abdomen<br />
dark brown pubescent, each side with a broad, ptlle fulvous vittn.. Legs dtlrk<br />
brown, grayish-ye1lo\v pubescent, heavily streaked with dark brown pubescence;<br />
tibiae annulate mediruly with gray-yellow; femora with nearly basal two-thirds<br />
pale, apex dark brown. Antennae with seape piceous, remaining segments dark<br />
brown; scape mottled with gray-yellow and dark brown pubescence; third segment<br />
with basal fourth pale pubescent, remainder dark brown; from fourth segment<br />
basnl thirds pale.<br />
Had above finely, densely punct!lte, with fine median impressed line from<br />
occiput nearly to epistorntl.; front roughly, coarsely, rather obsoletely punctate,<br />
toward epistorna more or less rugose; antennal tubercles prominent, subapprox<br />
im!l.te; eye with lower lobe nearly ovate, subequ!l.l to genae which are vertical<br />
and rugose. Pronotum transverse, base distinctly wider than apex; disk longitudinnlly<br />
carinulate at middle, greater part of carina basal, sides of disk bitubereulate;<br />
basal and apieal sulcus broad and rather shallow, apical curved at middle; lateral<br />
tubercle feeble, with a short, obtuse process. Scutellum transverse; Rides straight,<br />
oblique; apex deeply emllrginate medially. Elytra with sides feebly arcuate, slightly<br />
narrowed apicai!y; apices separately rounded; base to middle at suture and to<br />
basal third laterally, coarsely, sparsely, deeply punctate ; each elytron feebly<br />
gibbons medially at base, behind middle punctures evanescent; humeri obliquely
