fascia at middle of elytra latcrally ; pronotal sculpturing slightly<br />

Fnu.LE. Elongate-ovate, robust, elytra com·c.,,; fuscous, elytra dark reddish<br />
brown ; irregularly hoory and fulvous pubescent. Head irregularly fulvous, a short,<br />
dark brown vitta each side of median line attaining occiput; front brownish, vittate<br />
either sid!) of median lin!l on upper half nnd on each margin with fulvous and hoary.<br />
Pronotum hoary at sides and bas.qlly, disk largely brown, broadly maculate medially<br />
and apically with fuivous. Scute!lum sparsely hoary and brown pubescent. Elytra.<br />
irrorate with bright fuivous, the maculae indefinite in sh.'1pe, more or less cO."l.les<br />
cent., the interspaces with sparse brown pubescence, at middle with a largo, irregular,<br />

Body beneat.h and legs dark reddish-brown, sparsely covered with hoary pubes<br />
cence; metepisternum maculate anteriorly with fulvous; abdomen each side with<br />
two rows of indistinct maculae of denser pubescence: tarsal claw segments gradu<br />
ally fuscous apically. Antennae fuscous, from third segment paler broadly at base;<br />
sca.pe and apices of following segments brown pubescent, the pale b3scs hoary, till<br />
pubescence sparse.<br />
Head minutely, densely alutaceous, with a median impre:cd line from occiput<br />
nearly to epistoma ; front rather broad, widened slightly at lower margin of eyes,<br />
between antennal tubercles broadly concave, surface very finely, den...ly punctate,<br />
with a large number of coarse puncture.;; below and toward each side, at middle<br />
somewh3t tumid; genae subquadrate, densely, minutely, rather roughly punctate;<br />
eye with lower lobe broadly oblong, large, more than one and one-half times as<br />
high as gena; antennal tubercles moderately prominent, rather robust, widely separated,<br />
at apex: with a silort, acute tooth. Pronotum strongly transverse, one-half<br />
wider than long; sides irregular in outline, constricted at apex ; lateral tubercles<br />
