The European standard on language tours EN 14804 contains some scarce<br />
information on rights and remedies. If one measures <strong>the</strong> standards against <strong>the</strong><br />
rules provided for in Directive 90/314/EEC on package tours, <strong>the</strong> result is ra<strong>the</strong>r<br />
disappointing. There are only some basic rules on <strong>the</strong> potential liability in<br />
providing <strong>the</strong> contractual services.<br />
