Post-contractual disputes are part of <strong>the</strong> business. The technical standards<br />
<strong>the</strong>refore contain rules on complaint handling and dispute resolution. However,<br />
<strong>the</strong>se requirements are not really developed. There is no reference to <strong>the</strong> way<br />
in which out-of-court dispute resolution should be handled. It is only said that<br />
amicable dispute settlement should be available. This is a ra<strong>the</strong>r low standard in<br />
comparison to <strong>the</strong> existing EC recommendations on dispute resolution, such as<br />
98/257/EC 406 .<br />
