4.4 Road-based Public Transport Services
4.4.1 Scheduled and Subsidised Services (Buses)
Draw ing 1 describes the Sedibeng Bus Routes and Ranks.
Scheduled services are operated by road on a route/s and in accordance w ith a
timetable. The scheduled services operating in Sedibeng are provided by Ipeleng
Transport Trust, Gauteng Coaches and Comuta. These operators have tendered
contracts with the Gauteng Provincial Government to provide such subsidised bus
services. TABLE 4.17 contains the main origins and destinations for each operator.
