(a) Upon written notice to proceed, all work required <strong>for</strong> the project specified in the Task Order/Contract shall be<br />

completed within the time schedule set <strong>for</strong>th in the Specific Requirements, unless the Commissioner, <strong>for</strong> good cause<br />

shown by the Consultant, extends the time of completion.<br />

(b) The Consultant shall be required to submit a Progress Report in accordance with the <strong>requirements</strong> of this section.<br />

Such Progress Report shall consist of the following two components: a Bar Chart Schedule, <strong>and</strong> a Detailed Analysis of<br />

project’s progress, as described in paragraph (e) below.<br />

(1) For projects having a duration of six (6) months or less, the Commissioner may, in his/her discretion, suspend the<br />

requirement <strong>for</strong> the monthly Progress Report.<br />

(2) For projects having a duration of longer than six (6) months, the Consultant shall be required to submit a monthly<br />

Progress Report; however, the Commissioner may, in his/her discretion, suspend the requirement <strong>for</strong> the monthly<br />

Progress Report.<br />

(3) Suspension of the requirement <strong>for</strong> the monthly Progress Report may be <strong>for</strong> a specific month(s), or may be <strong>for</strong> the<br />

entire duration of the Task Order/Contract. Written notification of such suspension will be provided to the<br />

Consultant. In the event of such suspension, the Consultant shall not be entitled to payment of the Monthly Fee<br />

<strong>for</strong> the Progress Report.<br />

(c) Upon receipt of notice to proceed with work required <strong>for</strong> the project, the Consultant shall prepare <strong>and</strong> submit to the<br />

Commissioner, within 10 working days of the date of such notice, a Bar Chart Schedule <strong>for</strong> the <strong>services</strong> required in<br />

connection with the project, <strong>for</strong> approval by DDC. The Consultant shall not be entitled to any payment <strong>for</strong> the initial Bar<br />

Chart Schedule described in this paragraph. The Bar Chart Schedule shall be prepared using Microsoft Project 2003 <strong>and</strong><br />

shall be printed on 8 1/2” x 11” to 11” x 17” (fold-over) size paper. The Bar Chart Schedule shall indicate execution of all<br />

tasks as applicable, <strong>and</strong> shall include but not be limited to the following:<br />

(1) Contract number <strong>and</strong> date, project name, names of Engineer-In-Charge <strong>and</strong> project Engineer, border, monthly<br />

calendar <strong>and</strong> weekly calendar;<br />

(2) Dates <strong>for</strong> completion of required <strong>services</strong>;<br />

(3) The tasks, sub-tasks <strong>and</strong> milestones to be undertaken or achieved in connection with the project including<br />

where applicable Preliminary Design, Mass Mailings, Pre-Final <strong>and</strong> Final Contract Documents;<br />

(4) The interrelationship <strong>and</strong> dependency of the various activities required under the tasks included in the Specific<br />

Requirements of the project;<br />

(5) The time needed to complete or achieve the various tasks, sub-tasks <strong>and</strong> milestones;<br />

(6) Dates <strong>for</strong> completion/submission of any agency work by others, such as television sewer inspection program;<br />

(7) The date <strong>for</strong> submission of the packages of Bid-Ready Contract Documents where applicable;<br />

(8) The project's critical path;<br />

(9) The dates <strong>for</strong> Consultant’s per<strong>for</strong>mance evaluation which shall be prepared on a six (6) months basis (from the<br />

notice to proceed date) <strong>for</strong> the entire specified duration of the project.<br />

(d) For the purpose of progress reporting, the date of the Notice To Proceed on any project shall be considered the<br />

monthly “Anniversary Date” <strong>for</strong> that project.<br />

(e) Progress Report: No later than two (2) working days following the monthly "Anniversary Date”, the Consultant<br />

shall submit a Progress Report, consisting of the two components set <strong>for</strong>th below.<br />

(1) Bar Chart Schedule: The Consultant shall revise <strong>and</strong> update the Bar Chart Schedule to indicate (1) the actual<br />

start <strong>and</strong> completion dates of all tasks that have been completed, <strong>and</strong> (2) the projected start <strong>and</strong> completion date<br />

of all remaining tasks that are to be per<strong>for</strong>med <strong>for</strong> the Project. The revised/updated Bar Chart Schedule shall<br />

reflect the project’s current status at the end of the reporting period <strong>and</strong> shall include actual dates (year <strong>and</strong><br />

month), as well as columns showing the cumulative percentage (%) completion of each task.<br />

(2) Detailed Analysis: The Consultant shall prepare <strong>and</strong> submit to the Commissioner a Detailed Analysis of the<br />

project’s progress. Such Detailed Analysis shall include, but not be limited to, the following: actual time used <strong>for</strong><br />

each activity in the schedule; changes in targeted completion dates <strong>for</strong> the various activities in the schedule; the<br />

reasons <strong>for</strong> any delays in the targeted completion dates; the need <strong>and</strong> justification <strong>for</strong> any extensions of time; a<br />
