narrative description of the work per<strong>for</strong>med during the reporting period, including dates, facts, <strong>and</strong> breakdown by<br />

contract elements. In the absence of progress in the reporting period with respect to individual tasks, the<br />

Consultant shall refer to the previous progress report during which work was last per<strong>for</strong>med on those tasks. The<br />

report shall also include a narrative description of the overall project schedule, project budget, work anticipated <strong>for</strong><br />

the next reporting period <strong>and</strong> the needs from DDC necessary to move the project <strong>for</strong>ward. In addition, the<br />

Consultant shall affix to the report a “Project Report Summary” table that includes the following<br />

columns/in<strong>for</strong>mation:<br />

(1) Task<br />

(2) Description<br />

(3) % Completion<br />

(4) Scheduled Completion Date<br />

(5) Projected Completion date<br />

(6) Variance (weeks), (-) ahead (+) behind<br />

(f) There shall be a monthly meeting with the Commissioner at which time the Consultant shall discuss: the actual<br />

progress of the project; the outst<strong>and</strong>ing issues; <strong>and</strong> the necessary revisions to the project schedule. Based on the meeting<br />

discussions, <strong>and</strong> in accordance with directions provided by the Commissioner, the Consultant shall revise <strong>and</strong> resubmit the<br />

updated Bar Chart Schedule <strong>for</strong> the project. The Consultant shall not be entitled to any payment <strong>for</strong> the Bar Chart<br />

Schedule described in this paragraph.<br />

(g) No later than two (2) working days following the monthly "Anniversary Date”, the Consultant shall be required to<br />

submit to the Commissioner (via h<strong>and</strong> delivery or express mail) a revised/updated Progress Report. The Consultant shall<br />

continue to submit a monthly Progress Report until the final completion of the project, unless directed otherwise by the<br />

Commissioner.<br />

5. INCREMENTAL AND FINAL REVIEWS<br />

a) The Consultant shall be responsible <strong>for</strong> the initiation of all actions, including the reiteration of submissions needed to<br />

expedite <strong>and</strong> advance the development, approval <strong>and</strong> acceptance of the <strong>design</strong>s <strong>and</strong> contract documents in con<strong>for</strong>mity<br />

with the project objectives.<br />

b) As requested by the Department, the Consultant shall provide copies of appropriate correspondence <strong>and</strong> prints of<br />

drawings as may be required to keep various Agency(s) in<strong>for</strong>med regarding the details/progress/status of the project.<br />

c) The Consultant shall, in accordance with the Mass Mailings No. 1 <strong>and</strong> No. 2 required in the Street Design Task, <strong>and</strong><br />

as otherwise deemed appropriate by the Commissioner, submit copies of Schematic Design Drawings, the Preliminary<br />

Contract Drawings <strong>and</strong> Pre-Final Contract Documents to the Department <strong>and</strong> to other City, public <strong>and</strong> private agencies,<br />

utilities <strong>and</strong> other parties which, based on project components <strong>and</strong> site conditions in the judgment of the Consultant jointly<br />

with the Commissioner, may have an interest in the project area.<br />

d) The Consultant shall review, evaluate <strong>and</strong> incorporate comments received, as follows:<br />

i) Where comments pertain to <strong>design</strong> being per<strong>for</strong>med under the jurisdictional responsibility of other<br />

agencies, the Consultant shall make requested changes to the satisfaction of said agencies as long as those<br />

requests remain technically <strong>and</strong> policy wide reasonable.<br />

ii) Where comments pertain to requested changes in street <strong>design</strong> or additional appurtenant work, the<br />

Consultant shall evaluate requested changes <strong>and</strong> additional appurtenant work <strong>and</strong>, upon receipt of approval by<br />

the Commissioner, shall incorporate <strong>and</strong> integrate all appropriate changes into the composite Pre-Final Contract<br />

Documents.<br />

iii) Wherever, in his/her judgment, compliance with an agency requirement is not being recommended or<br />

pursued the Consultant shall advise the Commissioner. Where comments are deemed to be not feasible or<br />

practical, or where they are deemed to be incompatible with the <strong>design</strong>, the Consultant shall, as directed by the<br />

Commissioner meet with the affected agencies to discuss/develop alternate solutions.<br />

iv) Where comments pertain to requests by various interested agencies to have their completed, furnished<br />

<strong>design</strong>s incorporated into the composite Contract Documents, the Consultant shall evaluate such requests <strong>and</strong><br />
