In complement, the acquisition plan will provision for additional observation campaigns to be
defined according to the available data downlink capabilities and resources. Observation
campaigns will consist in the periodical acquisition of specific areas within limited time periods
(e.g. southern islands below 53 degrees south acquired once per month during their summer
months).
Amongst others, the following areas outside of the baseline mission requirements will be
candidates for specific campaigns:
Southern islands below 53 degrees south;
Water imaging on coral reefs and algae bloom;
Night imaging observations for fires or volcanoes activity monitoring;
Antarctica coverage.
