4.10.1.1.2.4 Support-Desk<br />
As described in section 4.5.2.4 a first line Support-Desk will respond to general userenquiries.<br />
A second-line Support Desk, triggered through the first-line Support Desk, will<br />
provide expertise support.<br />
4.10.1.1.3 Service Dependencies and Constraints<br />
The MMUS Service access will require preliminary user registration vis-à-vis the POM, cf.<br />
section 4.10.3.1 for the applicable registration service.<br />
The timeliness, supply latency and quality of the MSI products accessible through this service<br />
directly cascades from the high-level baseline outlined in section 4.4.<br />
4.10.1.1.4 Triggering Mechanism and Interface<br />
The service is triggered by the end-users through the MMUS client for the product discovery<br />
and product download meanwhile the “download manager” triggers the automatic product<br />
download based on subscriptions (cf. [RD-44]).<br />
The support Desk will be provided through an operator interface (telephone and email).<br />
4.10.1.2 Interface Service to CDS/DAIL<br />
The <strong>Sentinel</strong>-2 <strong>PDGS</strong> will offer a dedicated electronic interface service towards the CDS/DAIL<br />
for discovery and download of <strong>Sentinel</strong>-2 products. This service aims at responding precisely<br />
to the SCE-01 applicable <strong>GSC</strong>DA scenario defined in [AD-02] whereby the <strong>Sentinel</strong>-2<br />
datasets identified in the <strong>GSC</strong> DAP are made available for download to authorized users<br />
directly through an external interface of the <strong>PDGS</strong>.<br />
This interface service aims at implementing the Catalogue service interface [RD-14]/[RD-15]<br />
and the On-Line Access service interface [RD-16] of CDS/DAIL as required by the<br />
<strong>GSC</strong>DA/CDS [RD-02].<br />
This service is implemented by through <strong>ESA</strong>’s MMUS complemented by the <strong>Sentinel</strong>-2<br />
specific DAG interface for the effective product downloads.<br />
4.10.1.2.1 Service Users<br />
The service user is the <strong>GSC</strong>DA/CDS and more particularly its DAIL component. The final<br />
users of the Data Access service through the CDS/DAIL are the GSP entities registered<br />
through the <strong>GSC</strong>DA.<br />
4.10.1.2.2 Service Characteristics<br />
The CDS/DAIL Interface service will answer autonomously to DAIL requests by translating<br />
the Catalogue (resp. On-Line Access) requests into equivalent <strong>Sentinel</strong>-2 catalogue query<br />
(resp. product download) requests.<br />
