○ A global refinement at Datastrip level as recommended in [RD-30] (cf. section
4.3.9.2.3) to constrain the model with the maximum number of GCPs extracted over all
images of the Datastrip.
○ The usage of MMFU scene duplication capabilities (cf. 4.5.4.2.2.2), ensuring that:
o no orphan segment of less than 60km along-track is left alone, hence
complying with the algorithm constraint outlined in 4.3.9.2.3.
o three MSI scenes systematically cover each datastrip discontinuity,
guaranteeing continuity of the refinement at the boundaries (cf. 4.5.4.5.3.3).
Figure 4-26 illustrates this process showing the small overlaps artificially introduced between
Datastrips to ensure continuity.
4.5.4.5.3.6 NUC Table Handling
The periodic NUC table updates triggered by the Cal/Val processes (cf. section 4.5.4.10.2.2)
will require that the GIPP corresponding to the NUC table loaded on board is unambiguously
selected for the processing. This association will by dynamically performed based on the
NUC table identifier stamped in every MSI raw-data scene.
