4.4 Data Products<br />

This section provides a comprehensive view over the <strong>Sentinel</strong>-2 mission data-products that<br />

will be delivered by the <strong>PDGS</strong>. The baseline choice of <strong>Sentinel</strong>-2 data products and their<br />

characteristics presented here has been motivated mostly by an analysis of the GMES<br />

service requirements extrapolated from the DAP-R and from the <strong>Sentinel</strong>-2 MRD provided in<br />

Appendix-A.<br />

4.4.1 PRODUCT PORTFOLIO<br />

The detailed <strong>Sentinel</strong>-2 product list and characteristics are provided in the <strong>GSC</strong> <strong>Sentinel</strong>-2<br />

<strong>PDGS</strong> Products Definition Document [RD-07].<br />

Table 4-2 outlines the <strong>Sentinel</strong>-2 product list and main characteristics of each product. A<br />

mapping to the “Optical Processing Level” labelling used in the DAP-R is provided for<br />

reference.<br />
