Scholarship Funds ><br />
<strong>The</strong> David R. and Betsy Banks Epstein Endowed<br />
Scholarship, established in 2005 to provide need based<br />
financial aid to <strong>Tufts</strong> undergradu<strong>at</strong>e students studying<br />
the<strong>at</strong>re.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Steven B. and Deborah Epstein Endowed<br />
Scholarship, established in 2006 in support of the Pritzker<br />
Challenge and to increase diversity on the <strong>Tufts</strong> campus.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Harry Esses Scholarship, established in 2008, to<br />
provide need-based undergradu<strong>at</strong>e scholarships for African<br />
American, Hispanic American and N<strong>at</strong>ive American<br />
students in the School of Arts and Sciences and the School<br />
of Engineering.<br />
<strong>The</strong> James H. Farrell, Jr., Scholarship, founded in 1986 by<br />
James H. Farrell, Jr., of the Engineering Class of 1959, for<br />
the benefit of deserving students in need of financial aid.<br />
Income from the fund is to be awarded annually to one or<br />
more undergradu<strong>at</strong>es in the College of Liberal Arts, Jackson<br />
College, or the School of Engineering. Where feasible, the<br />
scholarship will be awarded with preference given to<br />
gradu<strong>at</strong>es of Boston College High School.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Meade S. and Robert W. Fasciano, A’56 Endowed<br />
Scholarship Fund, established in 2009, to support<br />
undergradu<strong>at</strong>e <strong>Tufts</strong> students who are qualified to receive<br />
financial aid. Preference is given to students who are active<br />
in extracurricular activities on campus and who are<br />
residents of Somerville, Massachusetts.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Wesley J. Fastiff, A’54 and Bonnie B. Fastiff, ’60<br />
Endowed Scholarship Fund, established in 2011 in<br />
support of financial aid in the School of Arts and Sciences.<br />
*<strong>The</strong> Wilton B. and Helen R. Fay Memorial Fund,<br />
established in 1979 by Helen R. Fay, the income of which<br />
shall be used to assist deserving needy students of Jackson<br />
College in acquiring a college educ<strong>at</strong>ion; preference to be<br />
given to young women whose homes shall be in Middlesex<br />
County, Massachusetts.<br />
<strong>The</strong> M<strong>at</strong>thew A. Feldman Family Scholarship Fund,<br />
established in 2011 by M<strong>at</strong>thew Feldman, A85 to benefit<br />
students in the School of Arts and Sciences.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Robert L. Feldman Scholarship, established in 1989<br />
by Mr. Feldman, A’69, to aid worthy students in need of<br />
assistance in meeting their educ<strong>at</strong>ional costs.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Felton Family Endowed Scholarship Fund,<br />
established in 2011 by Gregg J. Felton A’92 and Marla J.<br />
Felton J’92 to benefit undergradu<strong>at</strong>es in the School of Arts<br />
and Sciences.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Edward W. Fickett Scholarship, established in 1963<br />
by bequest of Bertha D. Chellis in memory of the l<strong>at</strong>e<br />
Edward W. Fickett of the Class of 1896, the income to be<br />
awarded to a deserving student.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Fickett Scholarship, established in 1944 under the will<br />
of the l<strong>at</strong>e Edward W. Fickett, of Somerville, as “<strong>The</strong> Fickett<br />
Scholarship in memory of my sister, M. Grace Fickett of the<br />
Class of 1896, the income of this fund to be awarded<br />
annually to a deserving student, either male or female, who<br />
is majoring in the Department of Educ<strong>at</strong>ion.”<br />
<strong>The</strong> Benjamin and Alice Finn Memorial Scholarship<br />
Fund, established in memory of the parents of Philip H.<br />
Finn of the Class of 1942 and Alvan D. Finn of the Class of<br />
1945. Income from this fund is to be awarded on the basis<br />
of merit and need to an undergradu<strong>at</strong>e, and every fourth<br />
year to a Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy student.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Fisher Veterans Scholarship, established in 2008, to<br />
provide financial aid for students who have served in the<br />
United St<strong>at</strong>es military.<br />
*<strong>The</strong> Ella Bowker Flagg, Class of 1905 Scholarship Fund,<br />
established in 1972 under the will of Ella Bowker Flagg of<br />
the Class of 1905 for the benefit of students in Jackson<br />
College.<br />
<strong>The</strong> James B. Flaws Endowed Scholarship Fund,<br />
established in 2011 by James Flaws, E71. <strong>The</strong> fund will<br />
leverage financial access for students majoring in the Civil<br />
and Environmental Engineering Department while<br />
furthering the school’s goal of positioning engineering<br />
students as future problem solvers, project leaders,<br />
communic<strong>at</strong>ors and ethical citizens of a global community.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Austin B. Fletcher Scholarship, founded in 1905 by<br />
Austin Barclay Fletcher, of New York City.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Morris and Freda Fraidin Scholarship Fund,<br />
established in 1986 by Stephen Fraidin in honor of his<br />
parents, to aid worthy students in the arts and sciences.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Frischkorn Family Scholarship Fund, established in<br />
2003 to provide financial aid to worthy and promising<br />
undergradu<strong>at</strong>es who are actively engaged in the study of<br />
German or Economics.<br />
*<strong>The</strong> Volney Sewell Fulham Scholarships for women of<br />
Jackson College.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Parisis J. and Bessie Georgian Student Aid Fund,<br />
established in 1971 by gift of Parisis J. Georgian, to aid<br />
undergradu<strong>at</strong>e students of <strong>Tufts</strong> <strong>University</strong>.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Rob and Lisi Gheewalla Endowed Scholarship Fund,<br />
cre<strong>at</strong>ed in 2010 by Robert R. Gheewalla, A’89 and Ilisa C.<br />
Criss, J’88 to benefit undergradu<strong>at</strong>es in the School of Arts<br />
and Sciences.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Leona and John Ghublikian Educ<strong>at</strong>ional Fund,<br />
established in 1989 by Leona and John R. Ghublikian, E’39,<br />
to provide scholarships to deserving students enrolled in<br />
the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Luther Gilbert Scholarship, founded in 1902 by<br />
Mrs. Luther Gilbert, of Roxbury, Massachusetts.<br />
