Scholarship Funds ><br />
*<strong>The</strong> Mary and Luther Gilbert Scholarships, founded in<br />
1902 and 1904 by Mrs. Mary C. Knight, of Roxbury,<br />
Massachusetts, for the benefit of women students.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Gerald R. Gill Memorial Scholarship, established in<br />
2008 in memory of Gerald Gill, Professor of History <strong>at</strong> <strong>Tufts</strong><br />
<strong>University</strong>, to provide financial aid to increase the diversity<br />
of the <strong>Tufts</strong> campus.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Calmon and Hortense Ginsberg Scholarship,<br />
founded in 1964 by Mr. and Mrs. Calmon Ginsberg, of New<br />
York City, for the benefit of worthy students in <strong>Tufts</strong><br />
<strong>University</strong>.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Nancy Glass Endowed Scholarship, established in<br />
2008 for support of undergradu<strong>at</strong>es in the <strong>Tufts</strong> School of<br />
Arts and Sciences.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Gleason Family Endowed Scholarship, established in<br />
2007, to further the <strong>University</strong>’s highest priorities of<br />
providing financial aid to students in need.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Herbert D. Goff Scholarship Fund, established in<br />
1944 under the will of the l<strong>at</strong>e Herbert D. Goff, of Cranston,<br />
Rhode Island.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Dr. James Laurence Golden and Helen Murphy<br />
Golden Scholarship Fund, established in 1982 by<br />
Maurene L. Golden of the Class of 1959, the income to be<br />
used to aid undergradu<strong>at</strong>e students of proven academic<br />
promise and dedic<strong>at</strong>ion in the arts and sciences, who have<br />
also displayed exceptional leadership and service within<br />
their hometowns or communities.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Martha Goldthwaite Memorial Scholarship, founded<br />
in 1890 by Willard Goldthwaite, of Salem, Massachusetts.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Ellen R. Gordon Endowed Scholarship, established in<br />
2008, in support of financial aid for <strong>Tufts</strong> undergradu<strong>at</strong>e<br />
students in the School of Arts and Sciences majoring in the<br />
sciences.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Gorra Family Scholarship, established in 2002 to<br />
provide a scholarship award to a deserving student each<br />
year.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Alfred J. and Beverly Green Scholarship, founded in<br />
1961 by Alfred J. and Beverly Green, of New York, the<br />
income to be awarded to an undergradu<strong>at</strong>e or gradu<strong>at</strong>e<br />
student who needs financial aid.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Mary Sheldon Green Scholarship, established in<br />
2002 to provide financial aid to <strong>Tufts</strong>’ undergradu<strong>at</strong>e<br />
students.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Harold Greisman Scholarship, established in 2008, to<br />
endow a fund <strong>at</strong> <strong>Tufts</strong> to support scholarships in the School<br />
of Arts and Sciences in perpetuity.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Mortimer Griffith Scholarship Fund, established to<br />
provide financial aid to needy students in the School of<br />
Engineering.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Willis Wentworth Griffiths Scholarship, established<br />
in 1951 by William H. Griffiths of the Class of 1928, in<br />
memory of his f<strong>at</strong>her, Willis Wentworth Griffiths of the Class<br />
of 1899, to be awarded on the basis of need to a senior who<br />
has demonstr<strong>at</strong>ed leadership in worthwhile extracurricular<br />
activities.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Mary L. Groce Scholarship, founded in 1906 by Mary<br />
L. Groce, of Roxbury, Massachusetts.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Morris H. and Ethel M. Gudwin Scholarship Fund,<br />
established in 1999 by the will of Morris H. Gudwin.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Emily E. Guild Scholarship, funded by the donor, of<br />
Br<strong>at</strong>tleboro, Vermont, in 1964.<br />
Marcy and Robert Haber Scholarship Fund, established<br />
in 1997 by Marcy and Robert Haber, E’79, G’80, to provide<br />
scholarships to students in the School of Engineering with<br />
immigrant parents.<br />
<strong>The</strong> David N. Hadad Memorial Scholarship, founded in<br />
1985 by his family and friends from the Class of 1980.<br />
Preference is given to students in the School of Engineering<br />
who come from gre<strong>at</strong>er Lawrence, Massachusetts.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Frank Oliver Hall Memorial Scholarship, established<br />
in 1954 by the people of the Universalist Church of the<br />
Divine P<strong>at</strong>ernity in the city of New York, in memory of<br />
Reverend Frank Oliver Hall, D.D., of the Class of 1884,<br />
Minister of the Universalist Church of the Divine P<strong>at</strong>ernity<br />
from 1902 to 1918 and from 1929 to 1938, Professor of<br />
Homiletics in <strong>Tufts</strong> School of Religion from 1918 to 1929.<br />
<strong>The</strong> income of this fund is to be awarded annually,<br />
preference being given to a gradu<strong>at</strong>e student who is a<br />
member of the Church of the Divine P<strong>at</strong>ernity.<br />
<strong>The</strong> William J. Halligan Scholarship, established in 1953<br />
by William J. Halligan of the Class of 1923, to be awarded<br />
annually to worthy students in the School of Engineering.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Ronald E. Halvorsen Scholarship Fund, established<br />
in 1988 to provide scholarships to deserving students in<br />
the School of Engineering.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Sharon Halverson Scholarship, established in 2008,<br />
to provide scholarships to undergradu<strong>at</strong>es in the School of<br />
Arts and Sciences.<br />
<strong>The</strong> George H. Hammond Memorial Scholarship,<br />
established in 1999 by colleagues, friends, and former<br />
students of Professor G. H. Hammond, E’35, in honor of his<br />
loyal service to <strong>Tufts</strong> for over 40 years as an outstanding<br />
teacher and mentor. <strong>The</strong> income is awarded to worthy<br />
undergradu<strong>at</strong>es in the Department of Electrical Engineering<br />
and Computer Science.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Roland Hammond Scholarship Fund, established in<br />
1978 by Dr. Roland Hammond, A’98, H’39, in memory of his<br />
f<strong>at</strong>her, Roland Hammond, Class of 1868. Income shall be<br />
