resources, including those from auxiliary<br />

activities, fund-raising efforts, and grants are<br />

used in a manner consistent with the mission<br />

and goals <strong>of</strong> the institution. Contractual<br />

agreements with external entities are<br />

consistent with the mission and goals <strong>of</strong><br />

the institution, governed by institutional<br />

policies, and contain appropriate provisions<br />

to maintain the integrity <strong>of</strong> the institution.<br />

The institution emphasizes extensive frontend<br />

efforts to ensure that contract language is<br />

in the best interest <strong>of</strong> the institution, and goes<br />

beyond statutory requirements for competitive<br />

processes. While financial safeguards appear<br />

to be adequate, the <strong>College</strong> should complete<br />

the re-engineering review <strong>of</strong> all major<br />

business processes to ensure that both<br />

internal and external customer service<br />

receive the attention they deserve.<br />
