Ether Hill and Queenwood 2013 - 2014 2012/13 2013-2017 Create dead wood piles with logs and brash wood. Provide welcome/interpretation boards at accesses. Consider utilising circular brick structure Improve surface of pedestrian routes. Open up viewpoint at top of hill over golf course. Clear/thin trees in northern part of Queenwood, leaving linkages with surrounding woodland habitats. Retain mature trees. Ring bark one or two mature trees and leave standing to create deadwood habitats. Create glades and open areas to allow more light into woodland. Create dead wood piles with logs and brash wood.
