May 2011, Trial Chamber III ordered <strong>the</strong><br />

implementati<strong>on</strong> of <strong>the</strong> Appeals Chamber’s<br />

decisi<strong>on</strong>, setting forth <strong>the</strong> procedure for <strong>the</strong><br />

submissi<strong>on</strong> of evidence and rendering all prior<br />

applicati<strong>on</strong>s regarding <strong>the</strong> admissibility of<br />

evidence moot. 1577 Retrospectively, parties were<br />

to identify material included in <strong>the</strong>ir lists of<br />

documents and in <strong>the</strong> questi<strong>on</strong>ing of witnesses<br />

that <strong>the</strong>y wished to submit as evidence. Going<br />

forward, <strong>the</strong> parties were to identify <strong>the</strong> specific<br />

material <strong>the</strong>y intended to submit as evidence<br />

during <strong>the</strong> questi<strong>on</strong>ing of each witness. It<br />

ordered objecti<strong>on</strong>s to <strong>the</strong> admissibility of<br />

evidence to be submitted to <strong>the</strong> opposing party<br />

and <strong>the</strong> Chamber as so<strong>on</strong> as was practicable<br />

prior to <strong>the</strong> hearing at which <strong>the</strong> document was<br />

to be admitted. If no objecti<strong>on</strong>s were made, <strong>the</strong><br />

item of evidence would be admitted following<br />

review by <strong>the</strong> Chamber. Participating victims<br />

were instructed to file a written applicati<strong>on</strong>,<br />

setting out <strong>the</strong>ir pers<strong>on</strong>al interests, after which<br />

<strong>the</strong> Chamber could authorise <strong>the</strong>ir submissi<strong>on</strong><br />
