Uganda The total obligated funds since 2007/2008 amount to €1,621,206. 123<br />

Out of <strong>the</strong> 18 approved projects, <strong>on</strong>e uses SGBV earmarked funds 124<br />

and two are projects funded through ‘comm<strong>on</strong> basket’ funds whose<br />

beneficiaries include SGBV victims/survivors. 125 The remaining projects<br />

are providing psychological and physical rehabilitati<strong>on</strong> and material<br />

support to adults and children, including women and girls, as part<br />

of <strong>the</strong> integrated approach. One-third of active projects in nor<strong>the</strong>rn<br />

Uganda deal with victims' medical rehabilitati<strong>on</strong> (five out of 16). 126 The<br />

number of victims benefitting from TFV projects is 38,625. Of <strong>the</strong>se,<br />

68% are community peacebuilders. The sec<strong>on</strong>d largest category is that<br />

of victims of physical and/or mental trauma (9%), closely followed by<br />

<strong>the</strong> category of victims' family members and o<strong>the</strong>r victims (8%). 127<br />

DRC<br />

There are 16 projects approved, of which 12 are active. 128 The total<br />

obligated funds since 2007/2008 amount to €3,723,339. 129 Since <strong>the</strong><br />

beginning of <strong>the</strong> year, seven projects have been extended and scaledup<br />

to c<strong>on</strong>tinue providing assistance to victim/survivors. 130 Out of <strong>the</strong><br />

16 projects approved, eight, 131 representing 50% of those approved, use<br />

SGBV earmarked funding. The remaining projects provide psychological<br />

and physical rehabilitati<strong>on</strong> and material support to adults and<br />

children, including women and girls, as part of <strong>the</strong> integrated<br />

approach. The number of victims benefiting from TFV projects is<br />

42,891. Of <strong>the</strong>se, 82% are community peacebuilders. The sec<strong>on</strong>d largest<br />

category of victims is that of orphans and vulnerable children (7%)<br />

followed by SGBV victims (6.5%). 132<br />
