And it <strong>is</strong> very interesting to see th<strong>is</strong> motivation, to share th<strong>is</strong> information, to share<br />

these products, to share these ideas and that’s very important.<br />

The working atmosphere at Hanning & Kahl <strong>is</strong> very friendly. It's a nice mixture of<br />

working atmosphere, so working as a team to reach your goals, but also a very<br />

friendly way, free-time way. We also offer a variety of training courses, health<br />

courses, language courses like German, Engl<strong>is</strong>h, Span<strong>is</strong>h, French and there are<br />

many social events. And one of these events <strong>is</strong> our “HA-KA-Rad-Tag”, it's an<br />

Hanning & Kahl-bicycle-day. At the Hanning & Kahl-bicycle-day employees can go to<br />

their job by bike instead of taking the car. It has an healthy aspect, it has a social<br />

aspect. And it also motivates people just to use another transportation way. And they<br />

meet each other also on a hobby level.<br />

Th<strong>is</strong> activity <strong>is</strong> great, we get to meet in advance, have fun on the way and we are<br />

doing something together outside of work. You meet people from other departments<br />

with whom we have nothing to do professionally. It <strong>is</strong> definitely beneficial to look<br />

beyond the rim of the teacup and get to know the other departments better.<br />

At Hanning & Kahl we have a “BVW”-system. “Betriebliches Vorschlagswesen”, in<br />

Engl<strong>is</strong>h it's called an idea management system. Over the last years it grew more and<br />

more towards what we call now <strong>CSR</strong>: To work together with our goal, or eventual<br />

goal, it's called in German: “Mündige Mitarbeiter”. Translated into Engl<strong>is</strong>h it <strong>is</strong> more<br />

the responsible employee. With our idea management system we offer a platform on<br />

which we gather all these ideas of our employees. They want to share their ideas,<br />

they are very proud of these ideas and they also want us to implement them, in a<br />

very fast and easy way.<br />

When I have an idea or a suggestion for improvement, I first check if th<strong>is</strong> works<br />

properly. Then, we formulate: what <strong>is</strong> our idea and how did th<strong>is</strong> work before. Then we<br />

are looking for a superv<strong>is</strong>or and submit the idea to our superv<strong>is</strong>or.<br />
