Great Kiva 2, also constructedof type III or type IV masonry, was placed inthe same location as the earlier great kiva, butenlarged to approximately 162 m 2 as measured fromthe floor or 187 m 2 at bench top. The wall buttresswas revamped. An antechamber of type II or type IIImasonry that appears on the north side may haveserved both great kivas.Because of remodeling, dating of materials fromtwo pits in the northern section of the great kivas isdifficult. Other Pit 18 contained a cache that included"punches" and flakes; Other Pit 19 held a concretionin the fill. Both had been covered with stones andadobe.
