It is important to note that contam<strong>in</strong>ation by<br />
toxic chemicals still occurs, but the current effects<br />
on Peregr<strong>in</strong>e falcons rema<strong>in</strong> unknown [27] . In order<br />
to help fill gaps <strong>in</strong> research, consolidate knowledge,<br />
and enable improvements <strong>in</strong> the effectiveness of<br />
conservation actions for this species, the European<br />
Peregr<strong>in</strong>e Falcon Work<strong>in</strong>g Group was recently<br />
established [27] .<br />
