These projects employ best practice for captive<br />
breed<strong>in</strong>g, monitor<strong>in</strong>g and releas<strong>in</strong>g methodologies<br />
and standards, based on the European<br />
Endangered Species Breed<strong>in</strong>g Program (EEP).<br />
Annual conferences of the Alp<strong>in</strong>e re<strong>in</strong>troduction<br />
project partners (International Bearded Vulture<br />
Monitor<strong>in</strong>g, IBM) facilitate exchange of <strong>in</strong>formation<br />
and experience, <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g discussion on<br />
the situation <strong>in</strong> Spa<strong>in</strong> and other countries with<strong>in</strong><br />
the distribution of the Bearded vulture.<br />
