Ajnendment 2. The Provisional Powers Law, 1919, is hereby amended
191?'' by the addition thereto of the following Section :—
4. During the period of five years from the date of
the determination of the present war, as declared by
Section 2, the High Commissioner in Council, notwithstanding
anything to the contrary contained in any
other Law, may make orders:—
(1) To regulate, permit or prohibit the exportation
and importation of animals and things.
(2) To regulate dealing with coinage and currency
notes and provide for the issue of currency notes.
(3) To provide for the custody by a Pubhc Custodian
of property belonging to any person who either
during or at the date of the conclusion of the present
war was an enemy or the subject of an enemy State
as defined by any Proclamation or Order, in reference
thereto, and for the disposal thereof.
Repeal of 3. The Provisional Powers (Amendment) Law, 1924, is
m4.^ °^ hereby repealed.
Passed in Council the thirteenth day of February, in the
year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred and
twenty-five.
