TENDERS FOR <strong>THE</strong> MAKING OF UNIFORMS<br />

FOR <strong>THE</strong> MEDICAL DEPARTMENT.<br />

TENDERS are hereby invited for the making of<br />

Uniforms for the Medical Department, the summer<br />

uniforms to be delivered not later than the 30th April,<br />

1925 and the winter uniforms not later than the 15th<br />

September, <strong>1925.</strong><br />

The Uniforms should consist of the following :—<br />

SUMMER UNIFORMS :—Khaki Coat and Trousers,<br />

not to be lined, (Khaki and buttons supplied by<br />

Government). Approximately 40 suits.<br />

WINTER UNIFORMS :—Great Coat, to be lined,<br />

(Material, lining and buttons supplied by Government).<br />

Approximately 8 great coats.<br />

SERGE COAT, to be lined, (Serge, lining, buttons<br />

and badges supplied by Government). Apjfroximately<br />

40 suits.<br />

SERGE TROUSERS, (Serge supplied by'Government.)<br />

Approximately 40 suits.<br />

2. All tenders should ^ be sealed, and should be<br />

addressed to the President of the Tender Board, the<br />

Office of the Treasurer, Nicosia.<br />

3. Tenders should either be deposited in the Tender<br />

Box outside the Office of the Treasurer or be sent<br />

through the post. Postage on any tender sent through<br />

the post must be prepaid; otherwise, delivery of the<br />

same will not be accepted.<br />

4. Tenders should be marked "Tender for Uniforms,"<br />

in the left hand top corner of the envelope, and should<br />

reach the Office of the Treasurer not later than 11 a.m.<br />

on the 2nd March, <strong>1925.</strong><br />

5. No tender will be considered unless in respect of<br />

it all the conditions above laid down have been strictly<br />

fulfilled.<br />

6. All details regarding the articles to be supplied<br />

can be obtained from the Office of the Chief Medical<br />

"Officer, Nicosia.<br />

7. This tender becomes binding and must be carried<br />

into effect tipOn being accepted by the Chief Medical<br />

Officer.<br />

8. The Government does not bind itself to accept<br />

the lowest or any tender.<br />

FOR FOREST OFFICIALS.<br />

TENDERS are hereby invited for the making of<br />

approximately 86 Summer and 86 Winter Uniforms.<br />

The Summer Uniforms to be delivered not<br />

later than 1st May, 1925 and the Winter Uniforms<br />

not later than Ist October, <strong>1925.</strong><br />

The Uniforms should consist of the following :—<br />

SUMMER UNIFORMS :<br />

1. Khaki Coat and Riding Breeches for Forest<br />

Inspectors and Mounted Men. (Khaki supplied by<br />

Government.)<br />

2. Khaki Coat and Trousers for Foot Forest<br />

Guards. (Khaki supplied by Government.)<br />

WINTER UNIFORMS :<br />

1. Blue Serge Coat and Trousers for Foot Forest<br />

Guards. (Serge supplied by Government.)<br />

2. Blue Serge Coat and Riding Breeches for Forest<br />

Inspectors and Mounted Men. (Serge supplied by<br />

Government.)<br />

All other material, such as knee buttons for riding<br />

breeches, required for the making of the Uniforms<br />

should form part of the cost of making and should<br />

therefore be included in the tendered price.<br />
