that from and after the 23rd day of May, 1925,<br />

the said Acts shall apply in the case of Finland<br />

under and in accordance with the said Treaty<br />

of the 30th May, 1924.<br />

Provided always that the operation of the<br />

said Acts shall be and remain suspended within<br />

the Dominion of Canada so long as an Act of the<br />

Parhament of Canada, being Part I. of Chapter<br />

155 of the revised Statutes of Canada, 1906, and<br />

entilled " An Act respecting the Extradition of<br />

Fugitive Criminals/' shall continue in force there,<br />

and no longer.<br />

Provided further that the operation of the<br />

said Acts shall be and remain suspended within the<br />

self-governing Dominions hereinafter named, that<br />

is to say, the Commonwealth of Austraha (including<br />

for this purpose Papua and Norfolk Island), the<br />

Dominion of New Zealand, the Union of South<br />

Africa, the Lish Free State and Newfoundland,<br />

and India, until notifications shall have been made<br />

in the London Gazette that the Treaty has been<br />

made apphcable thereto, and that on such<br />

notification being made in respect of any such<br />

Dominion or India the said Acts shall apply in<br />

such Dominion or India in the case of Finland<br />

under and in accordance with the said Treaty<br />

as from the date of the said notification.<br />

This Order may be cited as the " Finland<br />

(Extradition) Order in Council, <strong>1925.</strong>"<br />

Defender of the Faith Emperor of India to all<br />

to whom these Presents shall come. Greeting!<br />

WHEREAS by Warrant under Our Royal-Sign<br />

Manual dated the ninth day of June one<br />

thousand nine hundred and twenty-one We were<br />

graciously pleased to make ordain and establish<br />

Rules and Ordinances for the government of The<br />

Colonial Auxihary Forces Officers' Decoration<br />

reserving to Ourself Our Heirs and Successors full ,<br />

power of annulhng altering abrogating augmenting<br />

interpreting or dispensing with those regulations<br />

•or any part thereof by a notification under Our<br />

Royal Sign Manual:<br />

AND WHEREAS WE are desirous that those<br />

upon whom the said Decoration has been or may<br />

be conferred shall be entitled to the addition after<br />

their names of the letters V.D. :<br />

Now <strong>THE</strong>REFORE WE do by these Presents<br />

for Us Our Heirs and Successors make ordain<br />

and establish the following additional Rule and<br />

Ordinance :<br />

It is ordained that the Colonial Auxihary Forces<br />

Officers'Decoration shall not qonfer any individual<br />

precedence but shall entitle tee recipient to the<br />

Addition after his name of the letters V.D,<br />

Given at Our Court at Saint James's this<br />

ninth day of May one thousand nine<br />

hundred and twenty-five in the sixteenth<br />

year of Our Reign.<br />
