WHEREAS it has been reported that the place for the burial of thc dead belonging to the Christian •community in the village of Linou, Nicosia District, is dangerous to the public health ; Now, therefore, in pursuance of the powers vested in him by the Burials Law, 1896, His Excellency the Governor is pleased to order, and it is hereby ordered, that a new burial-ground, in substitution for the aforesaid, shall be provided under the provisions of the said Law. WITH reference to Notification No. 200 published in the Cyprus Gazelle No. 1684 of the 27th March, 1925, His Excellency the Governor, under the power vested in him by Section 15 of the PlatreSr Public Health Law, 1908, has been pleased to appoint Mr. loannis Kyriakides, Advocate, of Limassol, to be a member of the Public Health Board of Platres in the place of Mr. Christodoulos D. Hajipavlos, Merchant, of Limassol, who has been unable to act as a member for a period of more than six consecutive weeks. 13th June, 1925. (M.P. 1432/09.) No. 411. CHEMISTRY LECTURES. HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOE directs it to be notified for general information that a course of lectures and demonstrations in Elementary, Theoretical and Practical Chemistry will be given by the Government Analyst at the Laboratory, Nicosia. The lectures and demonstrations will embrace pharmaceutical, agricultural, and commercial chemistry. The fee for tne course will be £1, payable in advance. The lectures will begin on the 6th July, 1925. Names will be enrolled, and any further information supplied on application to the Government Analyst. 17th June, 1925. (M.P. 520/08.) No. 412. IN exercise of the powers vested in him by the Quarantine Law, 1879, and otherwise. His Excellency the Govemor is pleased to make the following Regulations :— 1. Quarantine Restrictions shall be observed in respect of the places and diseases set forth in the Schedule liereto as stated in the Schedule in regard to such places and diseases respectively. 2. Any person who has at any time during the voyage travelled by second or third class or as a deck passenger will be liable to the restrictions applying to that class irrespective of the class by which he is travelling •on arrival at the port of disembarkation. 8. All previous Regulations made in respect of this matter are hereby cancelled, without prtjudice to jmy matter or thing done or left undone thereunder. 4. These Regulations may be cited as the Quarantine Regulations of 23rd June, 1925. Country. Egypt
