Provided further that the operation of the
said Acts shall be and remain suspended within
the self-governing Dominions hereinafter named,
that is to say, the Commonwealth of Austraha
(including for this purpose Papua and Norfolk
Island), the Dominion of New Zealand, the
Union of South Africa, the Irish Free State and
Newfoundland, and India, until notification shall
have been made in the " London Gazette " that
the Treaty has been made apphcable thereto,
and that on such notification being made in
respect of any such Dominion or India the said
Acts shall apply in such Dominion or India in
the case of Latvia under and in accordance with
the said Treaty as from the date of the said

This Order may be cited as the "Latvia (Extradition)

IN exercise of the powers vested in him by the Post
Office Law, 1881, and otherwise, and with the advice
of the Executive Council, His Excellency the Governor
is pleased to order and it is hereby ordered that on and
afte? the 18th of December, 1925, the following fees
shall be charged by or under the Island Postmaster
in respect of Insured Boxes addressed to the United
Kingdom and those British Colonies and Foreign
Countries accepting Insured Boxes for delivery, subject
to the Postal Insurance Regulations, 1925 :—
A postage rate of 2cp. for every 2 oz. with a
minimum charge of lOc^.
The Registration Fee of 2^cp.
_., An Insurance fee of 2rp. for every £12,or fcacbion
' of that amount of the sum assured.
Provided that :—
{(() The amount of compensation payable in
respect of any one Insured Box shall in no case
exceed the maximum sum of insurance admitted
by the country of destination,
(//) That this service of Insured Boxes shall
be in force at the Post Offices of Nicosia, Larnaca,
Limassol, Famagusta, Paphos, Kyrenia, Pedoulas,
Platres and Troodos only.
Nothing contained in of done under or in pursuance
of tliis Order shall render the Island Postmaster liable
cither personally or in his official capacity to any action
or other legal prcxjeeding in respect of or in consequence
of the loss of any such Insured Box or of any of the
contents thereof, and, subject to the approval of the
Governor, tlie decision of the Island Postmaster on all
questions arising between him and any person claiming
compensation in respect of the loss of any such Insured
Box or of an}' of the contents thereof shall be final,

has been pleased to appoint and hereby appoints
Mr, Loukas Haralambou Loukaides and Mr, Antonio
Branco, both of Nicosia, Cyprus, to examine into the
affairs of the Municipal Council of Morphou and to
report in writing upon the present financial position
of the said Municipal Council and upon the methods
used in and the state of the accounts.

with which, under any law for the time being in force,
instruments executed by or on behalf of the ''Ayios
Theodoros (Karpas) Co-operative Credit Society " or
by any officer or member and relating to the business
of the said Society are chargeable.
