6. Notice of any proceedings under the Law,<br />

save at the suit of the Attomey-General, shall<br />

be given to the Attomey-General, and the Court<br />

may refuse to allow any proceedings, which may<br />

have been commenced without such notice having<br />

been given, to continue until satisfied that<br />

notice has been given in the manner hereinafter<br />

mentioned.<br />

7. The notice shall be in writing signed by<br />

every person by whom it is proposed that proceedings<br />

be instituted or by whom they have been<br />

instituted, and shall state (a) whether or not he<br />

is a trustee or person administering or claiming<br />

to administer or interested in the charity or an<br />

inhabitant of the place or district where the<br />

charity is administered; (6) the nature and<br />

objects of the proceedings.<br />

8. Where the object of the proceedings is the<br />

removal of trustees, their names, descriptions<br />

and residences and the reasons for their proposed<br />

removal shall be stated.<br />

9. The names, descriptions and residences of<br />

the trustees proposed to be appointed shall also<br />

be stated.<br />

10. Where the object of the proposed proceedings<br />

is a new scheme, the notice shall contain information<br />

as to the past administration of the charity<br />

and its results and the nature and provisions of<br />

the proposed scheme.<br />

11. The Scale of Costs shall be the scale in<br />

force in Cyprus in actions and matters where the<br />

value of the subject matter of the action exceeds<br />

£50 but does not exceed £100, and the fees and<br />

the fees of Court shall be the fees payable in an<br />

action in Cyprus where the amount claimed<br />

exceeds £50 but does not exceed £100.<br />

12. Provided that the same fee shall be paid<br />

on a petition as on a writ of summons, and on<br />

any proceedings for which no provision is made<br />

in the Scale of Costs in force in Cyprus the Registrar<br />

may allow such snm as he thinks fit not exceeding<br />

that allowed in England.<br />

13. Provided also that the Court for the purpose<br />

of facilitating the application of anj^ Rules as to<br />

procedure or costs or fees, may construe any<br />

enactment with such verbal alterations not<br />

affecting the substance as may be necessary and<br />

proper to adapt the same to the matter before<br />

the Court.<br />

<strong>THE</strong> PHARMACY LAW, 1900.<br />

Administering the Government.<br />

IN exercise of the powers vested in him by virtue of<br />

the Pharmacy Law, 1900, His Excellency the<br />

Officer Administering the Government is pleased to<br />

declare tbe under-mentioned articles to be poisons<br />

within the meaning of the said Law :<br />

" Coca, or any preparation or admixture containing<br />

0.1 or more per cent, of coca alkaloids."<br />

Declaration, No. 121, dated the 18th of February,<br />

1925, and published in the Cyprus Gazette of the 20th<br />

of February, 1925, is hereby cancelled.<br />
