IN exercise of the powers vested in him by virtue of
the Game and Wild Birds Protection Laws, 1922
and 1925, and otherwise, and with the advice of
the Executive Council, His Excellency the Officer
Administering the Government has been pleased to
order and it is hereby ordered as follows :—
The Order in Council No, 900, dated the 12th day
of August, 1922, published in the Cyprus Gazette
dated the 12th day of August, 1922, is hereby
cancelled.

RULES OF COURT (FAMAGUSTA DISTRICT
COURT), 1925,

HIS EXCELLENCY THE OFFICER ADMINISTERING
THE GOVERNMENT, with the advice and assistance
of the Chief Justice, in exercise of the powers vested
in him by the Cyprus Courts of Justice Order, 1882,
hereby makes the following Rules of Court with regard
to actions in the District Court of Famagusta :—
1. Subject to the amendments and variations hereinafter
set out. Order XIII. and Order XIY, of the
Rules of Court for the Nicosia District Court of the
14th December, 1905, shall be in force in regard to
all actions in the District Court of Famagusta,
2. For the word " Nicosia " in the said Rules there
shall be read the wbrd " Famagusta " when the Rules
apply to actions in the District Court of Famagusta.
3. These Rules shall apply to actions pending in
the said District Court at the time when the Rules
come into force with the following modification : if
the issues have been settled but the day of hearing has
not been fixed the plaintiff shall have six weeks from
the eighteenth day of September, 1925, to give notice
of trial; if the day of hearing has been fixed the party

on whose application it was fixed shall give the notice
required by Rule 3 of Order XIII. and the action shall
be entered in the daily cause list for the day fixed,
unless otherwise ordered by the Court or a Judge.
4. These Rules shall come into force on the eighteenth
day of September, 1925, and shall be substituted for
Order XIII. and Rules 1 and 5 of Order XIY. of the
Rules of Court of 1886 and 1898, with reference to
actions in the District Court of Famagusta.

hand of the Chief Justice at Nicosia, this 16th
day of September, 1925.
