IN exercise of the powers vested in him by virtue of<br />

the Game and Wild Birds Protection Laws, 1922<br />

and 1925, and otherwise, and with the advice of<br />

the Executive Council, His Excellency the Officer<br />

Administering the Government has been pleased to<br />

order and it is hereby ordered as follows :—<br />

The Order in Council No, 900, dated the 12th day<br />

of August, 1922, published in the Cyprus Gazette<br />

dated the 12th day of August, 1922, is hereby<br />

cancelled.<br />

RULES OF COURT (FAMAGUSTA DISTRICT<br />

COURT), 1925,<br />

Administering the Government.<br />

HIS EXCELLENCY <strong>THE</strong> OFFICER ADMINISTERING<br />

<strong>THE</strong> GOVERNMENT, with the advice and assistance<br />

of the Chief Justice, in exercise of the powers vested<br />

in him by the Cyprus Courts of Justice Order, 1882,<br />

hereby makes the following Rules of Court with regard<br />

to actions in the District Court of Famagusta :—<br />

1. Subject to the amendments and variations hereinafter<br />

set out. Order XIII. and Order XIY, of the<br />

Rules of Court for the Nicosia District Court of the<br />

14th December, 1905, shall be in force in regard to<br />

all actions in the District Court of Famagusta,<br />

2. For the word " Nicosia " in the said Rules there<br />

shall be read the wbrd " Famagusta " when the Rules<br />

apply to actions in the District Court of Famagusta.<br />

3. These Rules shall apply to actions pending in<br />

the said District Court at the time when the Rules<br />

come into force with the following modification : if<br />

the issues have been settled but the day of hearing has<br />

not been fixed the plaintiff shall have six weeks from<br />

the eighteenth day of September, 1925, to give notice<br />

of trial; if the day of hearing has been fixed the party<br />

on whose application it was fixed shall give the notice<br />

required by Rule 3 of Order XIII. and the action shall<br />

be entered in the daily cause list for the day fixed,<br />

unless otherwise ordered by the Court or a Judge.<br />

4. These Rules shall come into force on the eighteenth<br />

day of September, 1925, and shall be substituted for<br />

Order XIII. and Rules 1 and 5 of Order XIY. of the<br />

Rules of Court of 1886 and 1898, with reference to<br />

actions in the District Court of Famagusta.<br />

hand of the Chief Justice at Nicosia, this 16th<br />
