A LAW enacted by His Excellency the Governor and
Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Cyprus, with the
advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof,
To APPROPRL\.TE A SUM NOT EXCEEDING FOUR HUNDRED
AND SEVENTY-SIX THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED AND
FORTY-FOUR POUNDS TO THE SJ^RVICE OF THE
TWELVE MONTHS ENDING THE THIRTY-FIRST DAY
or DECEMBER, IN THE YEAR OF OUR LORD ONE
THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED ASTD TWENTY-SIX.

HEREA-S it is necessary to make provision f^or such
expenses of the Government of Cyprus for the year
ending the thirty^fest day of December, 1926, as are
not already lawfully provided for or fihall not hereafter
be provid^ lor by any Law.
BE it therefore enacted by His Excellency the Governor
and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Cyprus, with
the advice and consent of the LegMative CorMicil thereef,
as lollows :—
1. This Law may be cited as the Appropriation Law,
1926.
^. In addition to the sums already lawfully apprcRpriated
to the service of the King or which may be heireafter lawfully
a^ppropriated thereto, tfoere shall be issued and applifed
to the service of the twelve months ending the thirty-firiSt
day ©I December^ 1926, iwiy sum not exceeding the sum
of Fomr Hundred and iSeventy-Six Thousand Niine
Hundred aud Forty-Foiur Pounds for defraying the charge
of the Government of Cyprus for such peri@d.
Limitation Z, A sum not exceeding the amount set down under each
to be*^et ii6*d i^^ thie Schedule herefto may be issued and spent in
on Personal re^peot of the Establiskment or Service.specified.and referred
Emoiumeme ^ therein ; provided that the total sum spent on PfisifSjonal
Emoluments during the year, a^proiprdated under ithis
Law, shall not exceed the sum of Two Hundred and
Thixty^Six Thousand Three Hundred And One Pounds.
