A PROCLAMATION.
Governor.
W HEREAS it is expedient for Administrative purposes
and otherwise to alter the boundary between
the Nicosia and Larnaca Districts ;
Now I, Malcolm Stevenson, Knight Commander of
the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, His Majesty's Governor and Commanderin-Chief
in and over the Colony of Cyprus, by and in
virtue of the power and authority vested in me by the
Ad^uinistrative Divisions Law, 1878, and the Yillage
Authorities Law, 1923, do proclaim and order that
the portion of the Nicosia-Larnaca District boundary
between the east corner of the Hali land (plot No, 204
of plan No. 40/4) at the locality " Koutsopetrika " and
the southernmost corner of plot No. 232 of plan
No, 40/27 in the locality of Mandres shall be changed
so that-—
(1) plots Nos, 204 and 205 of plan No. 40/4,

the Co-operative Credit Societies Law, 1914, and
with the advice of the Executive Council, His Excellency
the* Governor is pleased to order and it is hereby
ordered that Rule 48 of the Co-operative Credit-'
Societies Rules, 1924, is hereby cancelled.

GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL,—No. 1056.

IN exercise of the powers vested in him by virtue of
the Public Health (Villages) Law, 1892, and with
the advice of the Executive Council, His Excellency
the Governor is pleased to order and it is hereby
ordered that the above-mentioned Law shall be applied
to the village of Kato Pyrgos in the District of Nicosia.

THE DISEASES OF PLANTS PREVENTION

Governor.
IN exercise of the powers vested m him by the
Diseases of Plants Prevention Law, 1893, His
Excellency the Governor is pleased to declare that the
whole Island of Cyprus, with the exception of the area
on the northern watershed of the Kyrenia hills enclosed
by the village boundaries of Lapithos, Karavas,
Motidhes, Paleeosophos, Elaea, and Phterykha, all in
District of Kyrenia, is infected with the disease known
as Platyedra {Gelechia) gossypiella, the Pink Boll
Worm, and Earias insulana, the Spiny Boll Worm.
