IN exercise of the powers vested in him by the<br />

Post Office Law, 1881, and otherwise, and with<br />

the advice of the Executive Council, His ExceUency<br />

the Officer Administering the Government is<br />

pleased to order and it is hereby ordered that on<br />

and after the 1st of October, 1925, the initial fee<br />

payable in respect of parcels addressed to the<br />

United Kingdom and certain British Colonies<br />

and Foreign Countries upon which it is desired<br />

to effect an insurance for the payment of compensation<br />

for loss or damage while in transmission<br />

through the Post, subject to the Postal Insurance<br />

B«gulations, 1924, shaU be as foUows :—<br />

of value and on which it is desired to effect an<br />

insurance for the value of their contents while in<br />

transmission through the post, subject to the<br />

Postal Insurance Regulations, 1924, shall be 2^cp.<br />

NOTIFICATION UNDER <strong>THE</strong> PUBLIC<br />

HEALTH (VILLA.GES) LAW, 1892.<br />

IT is hsreby notified that His Excellency the Officer<br />

Administering the Government has received a<br />

petition, dated the 21st July, 1925, signed by twothirds<br />

of the tax-payers of the village of Ayios Nikolaos,<br />

in the District of Paphos, asking for the application of<br />

the Public Health (Villages) Law, 1892, to that viUage.<br />

In accordance with its provisions, the said Law will,<br />

from the date of this Notification, be in full force and<br />

effect in respect of the said village of Ayios Nikolaos.<br />
