ORDER OF HIS EXCELLENCY THE HIGH
COMMISSIONER IN COUNCIL.—No. 1040.

IN exercise of the powers vested in him by virtue of
the Customs, Excise and Revenue Law, 1899, and
with the advice of the Executive Council, His Excellency
the High Commissioner is pleased to order and
it is hereby ordered as follows : —
1. The importation into Cyprus of Cinematograph
Films is prohibited, unless the person desiring to import
any Cinematograph Film shall have previously, obtained
the license in writing of the Chief Commandant of
Police to such importation.
2. This- Order shall come into operation on the 1st
day of March, 1925.
Given under the hand and official seal of the
High Commissioner at Nicosia, this 7th day
of February, 1925.

virtue of the Customs, Excise and Revenue Law,
1899, and otherwise. His Excellency the High Commissioner,
with the advice of the Executive Council, is
pleased to order and it is hereby ordered that the Importation
into Cyprus of bees, honey, and substances
containing honey in an uncooked state, except by
license under the hand of the High Commissioner, is
hereby prohibited.

Legislative Council of Cyprus :—
No. 16 of 1924.—To amend the Law regulating
Pensions, Gratuities, and other Allowances to be
granted in respect of Offices held in the Public
