IN exercise of the powers vested in him by virtue of<br />

the Customs, Excise and Revenue Law, 1899, and<br />

with the advice of the Executive Council, His Excellency<br />

the High Commissioner is pleased to order and<br />

it is hereby ordered as follows : —<br />

1. The importation into Cyprus of Cinematograph<br />

Films is prohibited, unless the person desiring to import<br />

any Cinematograph Film shall have previously, obtained<br />

the license in writing of the Chief Commandant of<br />

Police to such importation.<br />

2. This- Order shall come into operation on the 1st<br />

day of March, <strong>1925.</strong><br />

Given under the hand and official seal of the<br />

High Commissioner at Nicosia, this 7th day<br />

of February, <strong>1925.</strong><br />

IN exercise of the powers vested in him under or, by<br />

virtue of the Customs, Excise and Revenue Law,<br />

1899, and otherwise. His Excellency the High Commissioner,<br />

with the advice of the Executive Council, is<br />

pleased to order and it is hereby ordered that the Importation<br />

into Cyprus of bees, honey, and substances<br />

containing honey in an uncooked state, except by<br />

license under the hand of the High Commissioner, is<br />

hereby prohibited.<br />

rpHE Right ilonourable the Secretary of State for<br />

X the Colonies has intimated that His Majesty will<br />

not be advised to exercise his power of disallowance<br />

with regard to the following Law enacted by the<br />

Legislative Council of Cyprus :—<br />

No. 16 of 1924.—To amend the Law regulating<br />

Pensions, Gratuities, and other Allowances to be<br />

granted in respect of Offices held in the Public<br />

Service of Cyprus. (M.P. 1091/24.)<br />

the publication for general information of the<br />

following draft bills which will be introduced into the<br />

Legislative Council, and they are published accordingly<br />

Forty-six Thousand Six Hundred Pounds to the<br />

Service of the Government of Cyprus.<br />
