A PROCLAMATION.<br />

Administering the Government.<br />

IT7 HEREAS it is expedient for Administrative pur-<br />

T V poses and otherwise to alter the boundary between<br />

the Nicosia and Kyrenia Districts ;<br />

Now I, John Cyril Douglas Fenn, Companion of<br />

the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and<br />

Saint George, Administering the Goverment of the<br />

Colony of Cyprus, by and in virtue of the power and<br />

authority vested in me by the Administrative Divisions<br />

Law, 1878, and the Yillage Authorities Law, 1923,<br />

do proclaim and order that the portion of the Nicosia-<br />

Kyrenia District boundary between the villages of<br />

Kalokhorio (Kaputi) in the district of Nicosia and<br />

Diorios in the district of Kyrenia, and more closely<br />

defined as between the south-east corner of plot No. 2<br />

of plan No. 10/64 and the south-west corner of plot<br />

No. 71 of plan No. 20/3, shall run as follows :—<br />

From the point where the Morphou-Kormakiti Road<br />

crosses the Angoulos River the district boundary follows<br />

the east side of this road as far as cairn No. 66 of<br />

Ayia Irini State Forest; thence it follows the southern<br />

edges of the Ayios Panteleimon and Dioi-ios-Karpasia<br />

Forests as far as the point where the delimitation line<br />

crosses the Morphou-Diorios main Road; thence the<br />

eastern side of this road as far as the south-west corner<br />

of plot No. 88 of plan No. 11/59 ; thence the southern<br />

edge Of this plot as far as the south-east corner ;<br />

thence along the southern edge, for about 700 feet, of<br />

plot No. 147 of plan No. 11/59 ; thence along the<br />

southern edge of plots Nos. 53 and 55, the western<br />

edge of plots Nos. 50 and 49, the southern edge of<br />

plots Nos. 49, 50, 60, 61, 60 and 59, the western edge<br />

of plot No. 104, the northern edge of plots Nos. 70<br />

and 69, the western edge of plots Nos. 69 and 71, all<br />

of plan No. 20/3.<br />

All plan and plot numbers described above refer to the<br />

Kyrenia District chain survey on scale 1/2500.<br />

Given at Troodos, this 2nd day of July, <strong>1925.</strong><br />

Mr. Hrand H. A. Utidjian to act as Chief Turkish<br />

Translator, Colonial Secretary's Office. Dated 5th<br />

Mr. C. P. Mavroidi, Assistant Collector and Harbour<br />

Master, Customs Department, acted as Collector<br />

Department, is granted vacation leave from 27th<br />

June to 26th September, 1925, and leave of absence<br />
