A BILL
To APPROPRIATE A SUM NOT EXCEEDING FoUR HUNDRED
AND SEVENTY-SIX THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED AND
FORTY-FOUR POUNDS TO THE SERVICE OF THE
TWELVE MONTHS ENDING THE THIRTY-FIRST DAY
OF DECEMBER, IN THE YEAR OF OUR LORD ONE
THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED AND TWENTY-SIX.
WHEREAS it is necessary to make provision for such i*""»bi«expenses
of the Govemment of Cyprus for the year
ending^ the thirty-j&rst day of December, 1926, as are
not already lawfully provided for or shall not hereafter
be provided for by any Law.
BE it therefore enacted byHis Excellency the Govemor
and Conimand6r-in^Chief of the Colony of Cyprus, with
the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof,
as follows :—
1. This Law may be cited as the Appropriation Law, short title.

2. In addition to the sums already lawfully appropriated Appropriato

fully appropriated thereto, there shall be issued atid applied
to the service of the twelve months ending the thirty-first
day of December, 1926, any sum not exceeding the sum
of Four Hundred and Seventy-Six Thousand Nine
Hundred and Forty-Four Pounds for def raying the charge
of the Government of Cyprus for such period.
3. A sum not exceeding the amount set down under each Limitation
head in the Schedule hereto may be issued and spent in °^ ^heap&at
respect of the Establishment or Service specified and referred on Personal
to therein ; provided that the total sum spent on Personal Emoluments
Emoluments during the year, appropriated under this
Law, shall not exceed the sum of Two Hundred and
Thirty-Six Thousand Three Hundred and One Pounds.
