The standard of school education of those who have attended<br />

school <strong>in</strong> <strong>Germany</strong>, i.e. the second-generation migrants<br />

who were born <strong>in</strong> <strong>Germany</strong> and the lateral entrants (figure 56)<br />

are considered below. A similar picture emerges here.<br />

A relatively small proportion of Turkish migrants possess<br />

a high standard of school education (‘Abitur’ or other qualification<br />

for higher education) (26 per cent among <strong>Muslim</strong>s, 29
