A very high employment and tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g rate also applies<br />

among men who left school <strong>in</strong> <strong>Germany</strong> without any qualifications,<br />

however. This confirms the importance of the ethnic<br />

niche economy and the low-skill sector for this group. Women<br />

who have attended school <strong>in</strong> <strong>Germany</strong> are not much more likely<br />

to be <strong>in</strong> ga<strong>in</strong>ful employment or tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g than women of the first<br />

migrant generation. Women with school-leav<strong>in</strong>g qualifications<br />

entitl<strong>in</strong>g them to enter <strong>in</strong>to higher education represent an<br />

exception here, with a pronounced likelihood of employment<br />

(table 36).<br />
