• If a train will automatically run somewhere during operation <strong>and</strong> you did not specify<br />

an appropriate schedule to perform this task in advance.<br />

• If you want to define a new schedule quickly from scratch.<br />

Auto Train by Drag & Drop<br />

The fastest way to run AutoTrain is Drag & Drop with the mouse:<br />

• Open the Schedule menu <strong>and</strong> call the AutoTrain by Drag <strong>and</strong> Drop comm<strong>and</strong><br />

(alternatively press <strong>and</strong> hold the key ‘A’ on your computer keyboard; A = Auto-<br />

Train).<br />

• Press the left mouse button near the exit of the block in the block diagram or in the<br />

switchboard, where the train will start.<br />

• Hold the left mouse button pressed <strong>and</strong> drag the mouse to the exit of the block in the<br />

block diagram or in the switchboard, where the train will stop.<br />

• Release the left mouse button (<strong>and</strong> the ‘A’ key, if necessary).<br />

• The train will now start <strong>and</strong> run automatically to the destination block.<br />

Auto Train Toolbar<br />

With the AutoTrain toolbar you have more options for individual customization before<br />

the train is actually started. To run a train with the AutoTrain toolbar the following<br />

steps are performed:<br />

• Open the AutoTrain toolbar .<br />

• Select the locations (blocks) on the layout, where the train will start.<br />

• Select the locations (blocks) on the layout, where the train will stop.<br />

• Optionally specify additional options that influence the execution of the Auto-<br />

Train, such as waiting time, operations, cycle, shuttle, etc.<br />

• Start AutoTrain.<br />

After starting AutoTrain automatically tries to find a path from the specified start<br />

block to the specified destination blocks. If a train is located in the start block, it is automatically<br />

started to run in the selected direction.<br />
