Diagram 30: Simulator
Start the simulator by clicking on the leftmost symbol in the toolbar of the simulator
window. This is the highlighted item in Diagram 30.
If you now start the train with the train window in the forward direction, i.e. by dragging
the green on-screen throttle in the train window to the right, you will notice, that
the symbol of the train moves from block to block on the computer screen. You can
even change the turnout positions and watch, how the movement of the train symbol
follows accordingly.
If all steps are performed correctly so far, then you are able to control the movement of
your train and operate your turnouts with TrainController. You are also able to
track the positions of moving trains on the computer screen.
